The staff were all hospitable and amicable. A minibar, climate control and an individual safe were available in my suite;)))

The breakfast was great, with awesome dishes. I greatly enjoyed the elegant-style building, big room. Location: the hotel was just off restaurants and shops, and shops. I had coffee at Beach Dog Cafe, located within 5 minutes walk.

The staff was friendly and went the extra mile, especially Juan Carlos from the surf school who quickly taught my family how to surf.

The cleanliness of the pool was subpar, and I often found myself cleaning it to make it usable .

Beachside location bliss

The vibrant atmosphere contributed to a wonderful experience.

We were disappointed by several issues. Although the location was pleasant, the pool cleanliness was quite poor, frustrating as we were looking forward to swimming. We had to wait long times for assistance at the front desk, and our rooms went without cleaning for the entire week despite our requests.

Chill vibes and surf lessons

Had a blast for 5 nights! The staff is super friendly and always went the extra mile. The surf lessons were awesome-my partner and I improved so much! Plus, the food at the café was delicious and a great way to start our mornings. Only thing is, the room could've been a bit cozier.

The location is beautiful, perfect for families. We enjoyed our stay with our two little kids, and the outdoor atmosphere allowed us to connect with nature. The breakfast burrito at the nearby café made our mornings even better!

In my wife's opinion, they need to improve room cleanliness.

The vibe was super chill, and the garden area was perfect for hanging out with friends. The bed was a bit firmer than I like, but overall, I loved it and would definitely recommend trying the local food spots nearby 🌊

La Negra Surf had the most very nice poke bowl at Destiny's and the cucumber margaritas were a blissful treat. Add in the chill vibe of the beautiful pool area, and you've got a little slice of paradise. Plus, being just a hop, skip, and jump from Playa Guiones.

Let's just say the bed wasn't the comfiest cloud, but it did the job in this surf paradise.

La Negra Surf Hotel has its charm, but there were some hiccups. The beach access is easy. It's just a short stroll that feels good first thing in the morning. The yoga space on the hotel is lovely and perfect for unwinding. The breakfast offerings are fantastic. I tried the breakfast burrito often-it hit the spot every day. The atmosphere is chill, and I loved hanging out by the pool. The noise from the surrounding area can wake you up early. I often heard sounds starting at 6 AM. I had a few issues with the room-insects were present, which can be common in Nosara, yet still bothersome. I also noticed some dust, and a few other cleanliness issues could have been better addressed. I appreciated the surf instructor, Juan Carlos. His dedication made our surf lessons engaging and fun! But the communal kitchen lacked essential items like an oven or coffee maker, disappointing. I wish the front desk was more consistently staffed. One time, arranged a surfboard took a frustrating amount of time. My stay had bright spots but faced challenges that need addressing.

The room had bugs, but I gained new skills during surf lessons.

I was particularly impressed by the beautiful garden area and the charming decor around the pool with a relaxing atmosphere. The short, accessible path to the beach was so convenient.

Quieter rooms would enhance the overall experience.

There was a daily use of surf boards, made learning so accessible and enjoyable! I felt welcomed by the local staff. The experience was lovely.

The location was fantastic as it was just a short stroll to the beach. The nearby restaurants and shops offered great options. I particularly enjoyed the nice dipping pool that provided a perfect spot to relax after a day of activities. The garden view from my room added a serene touch to my mornings and was a lovely bonus .
